Back to the Homeland, at least for Mom and Dad

Our trip back to the homeland (Mich and Ohio that is) went very well. After an initial day of stressful driving (snow, whiteouts, and high winds don't make driving in the dark fun) the rest of our trip was amazing, with sunny blue skies for all the days we traveled.
We had both of our kids in the back seat in their spot - Zadock in his cage and Karissa in her car seat... they are both very good travelers and we hope it stays that way.
Karissa saw her Great Gmas and Gpas, Great Uncles and Aunts, Grandma and Grandpa (LaRoy), Nanna and Pappa (Town), Auntie Carrie, Cousin William, second cousins once removed, second cousins, many other family member who we can't figure out how we're related, and TONS of other friends. It would take too much space to list everyone we saw. Many of these she met for the first time!
Karissa came back with a whole other suitcase of clothes, since mommy went a little overboard at Second Childhood (a consignment shop for babies)... and people are still giving her gifts! This girl is and will be one of the best dressed kids around!
She even got a new party dress for the openhouse that Grandma and Grandpa threw for her, so everyone could come and meet her.
