Dada

Well  I'm not sure how many people we've told, but Karissa has become increasingly chatty (a trait I'm sure won't go away any time soon!)... and in her chattiness she has said her first word!! And it is "DADA" of course!!

She says it every so often and we (and by we I mean me) get excited and repeat it back to her, she's getting to the point where she'll smile and say it again!  So cute!

Now I think she officially said DADA last week (the morning of July 28th, I believe)... however, Becky will argue that she wasn't saying DADA she was saying ADADAD... I said, take off the first and last letter and you get DADA, so there wasn't any difference to me... but now over the last few days she is clearly saying DADA!  We have no idea if she knows what she is saying, or who she is referring to when she says it, but who cares, she's saying DADA!
